There are 4 main components required for IoT devices that are:

  • Sensors: Sensors play an important role in these IoT devices. It enables the devices to collect data from the environment surrounding the device.
  • Connectivity: It successively sends the data through the cloud (through either WiFi or Bluetooth connection).
  • Data Processing: Once the data is received by the cloud infrastructure then it can be processed.
  • User Interface: Once the data is processed, the output/results are then given to the and user.

  • The home can be called smart when it consists of smart devices that you can control remotely by setting them the way you like to automatize house maintenance.
